This whole business about the use of fetal tissue for research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center set me to thinking.
Some of the generated comments seem to suggest that "fetus" equates with something Less than or Other than Life.
But the thought struck me: "God was a fetus once." In Jesus God was a fetus. God was conceived by God, carried to term and given birth to by Mary. Think about that!! God Was a Fetus. He didn't come from one!! It seems to me this puts things into perspective.
You were a baby; you didn't come from one. You were a teenager; you didn't come from one. You were a fetus, you didn't come from one.
Draw your own conclusions!!
Oh!!… Here's another thought: Why do we have government programs for Prenatal Care, if we don't recognize a Baby's "In There". (That even rhymes.)
