This short passage is a continuation in thought from yesterday’s reading. Again the focus is on ‘these little ones.’ While it might be easy to assume that the little ones He is talking about are children, remember that ‘these little ones’ are those who have been humbled, realizing their inability to save themselves, and seeing their need for Jesus.
These little ones, you and me, are precious to God, cared for by His angels! He cares enough for us, His little ones, that He will track us down when we wander into danger or difficulty. His love and care for us goes beyond all compare. Once again, what an amazing Savior we have!
