Peace Family Tree

Each family is asked to bring an ornament for our Peace family tree. You will put the ornament on the tree at either the 5 p.m., or 7 p.m., Family Worship Service on Christmas Eve. It will be returned to you following Christmas.

We Are a Friendly Church

You'll like the warm atmosphere and the genuine interest shown in you. We try hard to see that "you're a stranger only once."

We Are a Christ Centered Church

We proclaim Jesus Christ as the only Savior of men. Our task is to bring people to Christ and Christ to people. We believe the Bible alone holds the keys to the basic question of life.

We Are a Purposeful Church

We believe that God saved people for a purpose. Through Christ He wants to give people an abundant life. That life is expressed in loving service to God and others.

Youth Serve Fundraiser!

You may have noticed a new bulletin board in the Narthex! We are starting a new high school youth fundraiser, called Youth Serve, where youth are making themselves available to help you in variety of ways: Yard work, housework, holiday decorating, writing Christmas cards, babysitting, pet-sitting, house-sitting, and shopping! The money that students earn will go towards their 2015 summer mission trips or to their trip to the National Youth Gathering in 2016.

So how does Youth Serve work? It's simple:

Step 1: Browse the list of students on the bulletin board in the Narthex and identify which student(s) you want to help you.

Step 2: Fill out a request sheet (also located on the bulletin board) and place your request sheet in the folder on the bulletin board.

Step 3: The student(s) will contact you within a few days to set up a date/time to help you.

Step 4: After the student(s) has completed the work for you, we ask that you please make a free-will donation to his/her mission trip fund.

Please bring cash or check made out to Peace Youth to the church office.

If writing a check, write the student's name in the "memo" line.

We hope that you will take the opportunity to let our high school youth help you!

The Sanctuary is decorated for Christmas!

The new Christmas decorations were dedicated at the December 3rd Advent Service. We encourage you to read the back page of the December Newsletter for a complete description of the meaning and symbolism represented in the new decorations. All the money needed for this project was generously raised through individual donations and memorials. We extend a heartfelt thank you to those individuals and families for providing a lasting gift to Peace. We thank GOD for giving us the opportunity to tell the powerful message of the birth of our Savior by creating a visual in our Sanctuary, illustrating the true meaning of Christmas.
