We Are a Friendly Church

You'll like the warm atmosphere and the genuine interest shown in you. We try hard to see that "you're a stranger only once."

We Are a Christ Centered Church

We proclaim Jesus Christ as the only Savior of men. Our task is to bring people to Christ and Christ to people. We believe the Bible alone holds the keys to the basic question of life.

We Are a Purposeful Church

We believe that God saved people for a purpose. Through Christ He wants to give people an abundant life. That life is expressed in loving service to God and others.

Traditional and Contemporary Services

  • Sunday Worship: 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM
  • Saturday Worship: 6:00 PM

Midweek Meals

We need donations and Help for our Midweek Refuel suppers!

Our Midweek meal is so important for busy families! For some families, having a meal is the only way they are able to make it to our Wednesday evening Midweek program. We cannot provide the meals without your help!

Donations:
Each week we will need paper plates, cups, plastic wear, napkins, and lemonade mix, as well as a variety of food items.

Set Up Help:
We also need people to help set up for the meals from 4:15-5:15pm on Wednesdays. Since many Moms and Dads work, this is a great opportunity for retired women to get involved! We need volunteers to warm up food items that are donated, make lemonade, and set out the food so it is ready to go by 5:15!

Serving/Clean Up Help:
We also need 2 people each week to help serve the meal to families and clean up from 5:15-6:00pm.

Please sign up to donate items and/or help volunteer at the table in the narthex! Thanks!

Financial Peace University

Steward: The manager of another's property.
Thought of yourself as a manger? You are! You manage time, your spiritual gifts, your "stuff", your body...even the planet. You manage what to eat, watch, listen to, keep maintained and cleaned up after. You're one busy person...how are you doing with that? Ever pray for more stuff? We all do. Considering the situation we're in, would you hire you?

Did you know that over half of all marriages end in divorce?!?! The biggest reason...money fights! We in the church aren't doing any better. This means that the person on each side of you has either had a divorce or is going to have one.

If we as the church could help you better manage your money, what would it do for your marriage? If we helped with your marriage, what would it do for your witness? If we helped with your witness, what would it do for eternity?

In the "big picture", that's what we want to discuss. However, we are "stuck in the weeds". The average car payment is $486 for over 80 months. The average credit card balance is $9,000. The church ran $15,000 short last year. What choice do we have? What training did we get?

This is where the Stewardship Board can really offer some practical help. We have already led three Financial Peace University classes and are planning to lead the Legacy class. F.P.U. focuses on budgeting and Legacy focuses on training the next generation to continuing the legacy. What if your kids were the last in your family tree to have student loans? What if your grandkids were the last to have a mortgage? You can change your family tree!

These two classes aren't listed on the Time and Talents sheet. However, we wanted to offer them at this time for your consideration, and leave you with this thought:

What if the only thing we had today was what we gave thanks for yesterday?

For His Glory, we serve
